About us

Initiative for Integrity Development International (also called I-CUBE) is a Non-Governmental organization, made up of noble men and women, boys and girls who are determined and committed to the nurturing, development and propagation of the concept, values and principles of INTEGRITY in order to make a difference in a crooked generation. scalable workforce solutions.

I-CUBE is as a platform for creating CHANGE in every domain of influence using the virtue of INTEGRITY, be it in the home, industry, education, economy, civil service or other sectors.

We need to decode how the society got to this sorry state before we can make a difference, because if we don’t know where we are coming from, we cannot appreciate where we are in order to navigate our way to a better future.

In I-CUBE, we believe that the nucleus of all that have befallen Nigeria is largely due to lack of Positive Values, which are the building blocks for any nation. We have paraded too many people as leaders with zero moral capital or any iota of integrity, conscience or patriotism. Therefore, the way out of this dilemma among few other things is to restore these golden values of Integrity, Diligence, Patriotism, Justice, Transparency, Self-discipline, Accountability, etcback into our conscience and mindset and that is the gap I-CUBE is out to fill.

I-CUBE

Integrity is the asset that incorporates every other good virtue of honesty, discipline, fair play, transparency, patriotism, etc. In I-CUBE, we believe that we all need to de-program and reprogram ourselves by unlearning so many things that are currently wrongly built up in our value system, and begin to imbibe the values of Integrity for nation building. This would help to sanitize and transform our society by rebuilding CHARACTER and TRUST instead of deception, suspicion and corruption that have affected our dear nation so badly.

VISION

To nurture, develop and propagate the concept and values of Integrity and inculcate its principles into the society in order to raise men and women that will bring about the ‘CHANGE’ that the nation desperately and urgently need.

STRATEGIES

⦁ By focusing on our younger generation through interaction with students, NYSC and other youth with a view of inculcating positive changes in their mindset and attitudes towards exchanging their current negative values with positive ones that could help them to become better adults and future leaders that will give birth to a better society and corrupt free nation that we all dream about.

⦁ By having representations in every sector that will imbibe and promote the values of integrity even among the adult population – E. g. Civil Service, Industry, Economy, Judiciary, Legislature, The Church, The Mosque, Education, Nollywood & other aspects of the entertainment sector, Leadership, Professional bodies, Security, Legislature and Others.

⦁ Through seminars and luncheons to impact knowledge about good values and integrity for a better society.
⦁ Working with agencies of similar vision for value re-orientation and to propagate and inculcate the concept of integrity in the mind set and consciousness of the people in the society.
⦁ Dealing with the abuse of the concept of money and reducing it to the paper and coins it really is. This has been discovered to be the greatest obstacle to integrity and all societal ills.
⦁ De-emphasizing the concept of excessive materialism by promoting the values of contentment and moderation in our personal daily lives.
⦁ Combined strategy – By working with the media, the business world and via our website to reach out to both young and old on how we can together change our world if only we can imbibe the principles and values of Integrity.
⦁ Open commendations and encouragement for every act of integrity demonstrated in any quarter.
⦁ Participate actively in National Assembly’s public hearing to encourage laws that promote Integrity and transparency and discourage those that do not.

National retrogression due to lack of visionary leadership
Un-acceptable and shameful international index rating for Nigeria.
Collapse of infrastructure
Collapse of major parastatals and corporations, e.g. NITEL, Nigeria Airways, NEPA, Nigeria Railways etc.

PRELUDE

Nigerians have lamented for long over all these as listed above, as well as other disheartening societal problems. The truth is that we have two options which are:

To continue to lament and do nothing about it. This posture could be too dangerous for our children and our children’s children as they might not even have a nation to call their own if we continue as business as usual – May we not get to that stage. In the words of Edmund Burke, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing’. So we cannot choose this option and fold our hands and do nothing because the greatest enemies of the society are not just those that do evil, but also those that see evil and do nothing about it.
The second option is to rise up and make a difference and this is the option we have chosen, and that is what gave birth to Initiative for Integrity Development International
